ADT today announced that ADT Blu, a do-it-yourself security solution, is available for purchase on Walmart.com. This marks a milestone for ADT, expanding the availability of its products through a major retail channel and supporting the company’s focus on meeting customer needs in the DIY security market.
The self-installed home security system can be set up quickly and managed directly through the ADT+ app. The fully integrated app allows customers to arm and disarm the system, view live video, and receive notifications when people, packages, animals and vehicles are detected. Customers can also expand their system over time by adding devices as their needs evolve.
ADT Blu can be purchased without a long-term contract and installed without a technician visit. ADT Blu also provides customers with flexible monitoring options, allowing them to choose between 24/7 professional monitoring through ADT’s company-owned and -operated monitoring centers and self-monitoring.
