ADT Provides Emergency Assistance & Peace of Mind to Disaster Preparedness App Users

Following successful partnerships to make ridesharing safer for riders and drivers, build emergency services for personal shoppers, and integrate its safety solutions into wearables, ADT is now entering into the next phase of its mobile safety expansion by partnering with safety and preparedness platform, harbor. The partnership integrates ADT's proprietary mobile safety platform, Safe by ADT, with harbor's disaster preparedness app.
Starting today, we will provide emergency assistance to users of harborHELP, a premium subscription feature within harbor's app, allowing users who feel unsafe to quickly connect with ADT. A simple slide of the HELP button quickly initiates an SOS and sends an alert to ADT. ADT will contact the customer via voice or SMS chat, alert authorities, and share their location, as well as other user-provided, personally identifiable information to help emergency responders locate and identify them.
