Sarita Scarlett started PRESSED by Sarita as a creative outlet. It's now a thriving home business protected by ADT.

Sarita Scarlett never set out to become a business owner. She just wanted to make cute clothes and accessories that captured the pride she felt watching her husband’s journey through professional football. But the designs she started creating in 2021 for herself, her daughter and close friends quickly caught on, sparking requests from families across professional sports leagues.

What started as a creative outlet soon blossomed into PRESSED by Sarita, a brand run from Scarlett’s South Florida home, using the presses, printers and embroidery equipment she has collected along the way, all protected by ADT

Bringing Sarita style to the ballpark

ADT became the Miami Marlins’ Official Smart Security Partner and jersey patch partner in 2023, with a shared focus on strengthening safety, connection and community both inside and outside the ballpark. As a major employer in the region, ADT’s presence at loanDepot park reflects a shared commitment to creating meaningful experiences for fans and South Florida families.

This year, ADT served as the presenting sponsor of Marlins FanFest, helping welcome fans back to the ballpark with interactive experiences, programming and activities. As part of that activation, ADT invited Scarlett to participate as a local small business owner whose story embodies the creativity and community spirit the partnership aims to uplift.

Fans who visited the ADT booth went home with a free PRESSED by Sarita clear stadium bag that they could personalize with a set of bright, ADT- and Miami Marlins-themed vinyl stickers.

“I was super excited to be part of FanFest,” Scarlett said. “Being a South Florida native, it's honestly a dream to be part of it.”

Helping keep a home business secure

Scarlett said her ADT+ Security System offers her a “seamless” protection experience. She uses the ADT+ app to arm and disarm her system, check camera alerts, and manage the temperature in her workspace when equipment is running. Trusted Neighbor™ allows her to provide trusted individuals with temporary access codes, so packages can be brought inside when she’s away. And the Google Nest Doorbell (battery) helps her track deliveries, many of which include irreplaceable items customers send to be customized.

“Being able to let customers know that they don’t have to worry about their products’ safety within my space is really important to me,” Scarlett said.

Throughout the season, ADT will continue to support the South Florida community at its activation space near the home plate entrance, outside Section 17. ADT plans to offer hands-on experiences, giveaways and product demonstrations that reflect real home environments, and a variety of giveaways at its activations.

As the multiyear partnership between ADT and the Marlins continues, both organizations remain focused on safety, community and creating meaningful moments for fans and South Florida families.

"We are proud to be part of this community, to invest in it, and to connect with the families who live and work here," said Jodi Jarboe, ADT Senior Communications Manager. "When people can experience ADT up close, it brings our purpose to life in a human way and makes our partnership with the Marlins feel real and rewarding.”
